BAND OF BUDDIES

Kieyera has been playing the clarinet in the band at school this year. She has enjoyed her class, teacher, and all of her friends. Most of her friends this year have been made because of band. It has been a great experience for her. She has been talking for the last month about how much she is going to miss them over the summer. Her end of year concert was held last night. She did a super job! They have improved so much from the beginning of the year. She was so excited about playing. I am so glad we were able to see her play. We get to hear the practicing(which can get annoying if you have ever been around a hyper girl and a clarinet), but it was neat to hear the band all together. Kieyera will not be playing the clarinet next year. So this was also a "good-bye band" concert for her. She does not want to commit to an hour of practicing instruments each night, and would rather do other things. This was a choice she had to make. We have not let her give up the piano. So to say the least, piano gets done half way, and clarinet half way. But nothing to their full potential. But overall it has been a good experience for her, and she has met alot of great people. Kieyera is talented in so many ways! She brings much good to our family and others. She is my big helper, and always knows when I need a hug. She is soooo beautiful! She is kind and loving, and always seeking needs of others. I am so glad she is in our family. She makes my days brighter! I love you Kieyera!
